An ongoing project that maps local craftsmanship and production in the region of Vaud, Switzerland. Developed through close collaborations with artisan Neus Agelet, the project documents encounters between designer, maker, and material—revealing the quiet intelligence embedded in traditional know-how. Through a collection of objects, portraits, and interviews, Ensemble proposes a way of engaging with local industry: one rooted in proximity, transparency, and care. It aims to reshape the relationship between design and production by making visible the human hands behind the work.
Born from the elegance of a paper clip - a humble object that quietly holds together fragments of our daily lives. It preserves the clip’s gesture, shaping a form that is both tender and precise. More than an object, it is a gesture: holding, joining, keeping close. A reminder that even the most ordinary idea can be transformed into something delicate, luminous, and a little bit magical.
Bedroom Lamp, designed to support sleep hygiene and overall well-being, this bedroom lamp mimics the natural rhythm of sunlight from morning to night. By gradually shifting its full-spectrum light— it promotes a healthier circadian rhythm within indoor environments. It integrates infrared and UV components for additional biological benefits, transforming the bedroom into a controlled, nurturing space attuned to the body’s natural cycles.

powered by the natural energy of a nearby river—The Log tells the story of a truly sustainable, local process. Using traditional waterwheel driven tools,
a piece of log was shaped into a dual-function object: a stool and a bucket. The project reflects on resourcefulness, craft, and the quiet intelligence of designing within the limits and logic of place, from water to water.
Developed in collaboration with David Ortiz and exhibited in ‘We Will Surviv’e at mudac Lausanne, this project explores low-tech communication in signal-free situations. Using sound and light to transmit Morse code, the kit reimagines basic tools for connection in moments of disconnection. Created as a brief-response under the guidance of Anniina Koivu and Reed Kram, the project reflects on resilience, improvisation, and the essential human need in order to communicate.
Elementary School Chair -This dynamic seating chair was designed specifically for elementary school children, aiming to support movement and healthy posture during long classroom hours. Embracing the natural restlessness of children, the chair integrates physical engagement into the learning environment rather than suppressing it. With a focus on ergonomics and playfulness, its lightweight structure offers subtle flexibility—allowing small shifts and balancing motions that improve comfort and concentration. Reflecting a belief that design should support natural behavior, especially in educational settings that movement is not a distraction, but a form of attention.
